started with Duc Home in 2016 when Mrs S and Mr M reached out. They bought an apartment and were looking for an Architect to guide them into what would be there Home.
Designing Homes is not only making concepts and designs about light and spaces into reality. It is about creation accordingly to a very atypical way of life: The clients’ one.
Everyone has his/her own habits, things they like, things they do, thing they don't.
In order to transform a house into a Home, the architect has to organize all of that and translate it into spaces.
For the project to be successful the key is trust and open communication between clients and architect in order for them to become the "we" team able to create even richer project

Christophe DEGARDIN studied in Paris France and Houston Texas USA and graduated in 2013 For La Villette University. He studied one more year and became a licensed Architect in 2017. He worked mainly for ITAR Architectures and International d'Architecture, developing aside his own project (You can find his resume Here).
Working different scales (from Urbanism and malls for the firms to furniture details for his own clients) was always important for him as a reminder that little things impact architecture and people as much as big things.
Philosophy:
Architecture is synthesising a lot of data in a global plastic design with the sole purpose of transforming an idea of a space to live in and experiment, into reality.
Thus, the architect works with a context filled with constraints in order to get to a coherent materialization of a set of functions (living, working, playing sports, cultivating, contemplating, ...).
To achieve this, like the artist, the architect composes proportionate geometries. He orders them into full and empty spaces, from which volumes result. He makes them singular using different tool layers such as shape, perspective, light, materiality, vibration of colors and textures ...
Working with these architecture principles, my work tryes to respond efficiently, simply, and with quality to the client's request .
